December has a habit of filling up quicker than you think.
Luckily, The Narrowboat is ready for it. Our canal-side pub in Angel, Islington is serving up festive lunches, Christmas parties, Christmas Day dining and New Year’s Eve celebrations. Bring the office, the family, the group chat or whoever you’re meant to be organising Christmas for.
There’s good pub food, plenty to drink and spaces for everything from a long festive lunch to a proper Christmas party. All with the canal just outside.

Yes, our Christmas bookings are made by submitting a booking enquiry. Please complete the booking process on the website as usual (by clicking ‘Book Now’ ) to submit your enquiry, and our team will respond ASAP to confirm. If we don’t have availability on your chosen date or time, we will happily suggest an alternative time we can accommodate you.
We don’t have a private room as such but our Lower Deck is available for private hire and comes with its own private bar, making it a particularly good option for Christmas parties and larger celebrations.
Yes. We have a Festive Drinks menu, as well as party packages that can include things like bottles of fizz, beer buckets and cocktail trees.
Yes. Our Festive Sharers are designed for groups who’d rather get stuck into a few dishes together than commit to a formal three-course meal.
We don’t have our own car park.
The earlier the better, particularly if you’re looking for a Friday or Saturday in December or want to hire the Lower Deck privately. Christmas dates tend to fill up quickly.
Yes, to secure Christmas bookings we do ask for a holding deposit of £10pp and a pre order at least 2 weeks in advance.
Absolutely. Dogs are welcome, including for events, so there’s no need to leave the four-legged members of the family at home
